Summer Break

Wow, it's been a long time since I updated. Sorry. It's almost the end of June and I have thoroughly enjoyed my time off of school. The kids and I have spent a lot of time outside playing in the yard and in the kiddie pool. Easton doesn't really care for the pool, he would much rather dump a bucket of water on himself or drink out of the hose. Sydney would just go, go, go until she dropped if I let her. We had a week there where she was trying to go without an afternoon nap and that was pretty rough. But since then she has played so hard during the day that I think she realizes she needs the nap.
Right now we are at Big Star Lake with the Peuler crew. Seven kids under the age of seven . . . . . . we are going to need a vacation after this vacation. :) We had a great weekend of weather but today it was quite cool and overcast. The kids didn't care. We have played in the sand, the water, taken boat and golf cart rides, gone fishing, out for ice cream, etc. The low for the week so far is that we have had 3 emergency room visits in 3 days (one for each family). Nothing turned out to be much of a big deal but a two hour round trip to the hospital and the typical ER wait kinda puts a damper on a day. We are hoping tomorrow will be hospital-free. Kevin is trying to convince me to try water skiing. If that doesn't sound like an ER trip I don't know what does. No pictures yet, I forgot my cord at home. I'll try to update soon.
