Milestone
Oops, forgot to mention in my last entry . . . . . . Easton started walking over spring break. On Thursday morning he took 3 steps, by the afternoon he was up to 7, and by bedtime he took 12! I remember with Sydney she went from a few steps to walking over the course of a week not one day! Since then Easton has been picking and choosing when he wants to crawl and when he wants to walk. It is so cute to watch him hobble across the room. So far his head looks pretty straight while he is walking. At our last therapy session Lisa left me with these parting thoughts, "Some parents of kids with stubborn torticollis (like Easton) have told me that as soon as their child started to walk or run they realized that it was a lot more beneficial if they turned their head to their weak side and therefore the torticollis got a whole lot better." We are keeping our fingers crossed!
