Surgery

We met with the pediatric surgeon yesterday and we scheduled for Easton's cyst to be removed on December 23. The doctor said the procedure would take about a half an hour, he should recover nicely, and it won't ruin his holiday. I'm trying not to think about it too much right now. I'm obviously not looking forward to having my baby go under anesthesia but we gotta do what we gotta do. The stitches will be dissolvable so we won't have to go back to have them removed. There could be slight scarring but will probably fade with time. I'm also worried about not being able to feed the little guy. We don't know the exact time of the operation yet but he said it would be in the morning. He also said that we would have to be there 2 hours before the procedure. Yeah right. Try not feeding a hungry baby for 2+ hours in the morning - that should be fun. But we'll get through it.
