Getting the hang of things

So the last few days at daycare have gone much better for Sydney. She has participated in the craft, eaten all of her food, made some new friends, taken longer naps, and gotten into the swing of things. Sunday night we told her she needed to get a good night's sleep b/c we were going to Miss Sandy's the next day. She grabbed all of her friends, walked to the back door, and said, "Open door mama." She was not happy when we explained to her that she couldn't go until the next day. Then when I picked her up on Monday she was sitting at the big kid table finishing her snack. She didn't see me come in and I overheard her jabbering away to her new friend and the golden retriever. When she finally saw me she got up, put her milk in the fridge, threw her snack wrapper away, grabbed her friends, and said "see ya!" to her girlfriend. Then in the car she said, "Bye Sandy's house, love you Sandy." I would say she has finally adjusted. What a relief.
