Eastoj's Surgery

We are happy to let you all know that Easton's surgery went great on Tuesday. We had to get there 2 hours before his scheduled time (so we were there at 5:30!) but he did great waiting to eat. The procedure took about 45 minutes and the doctor said he got the entire cyst out, no problem, and that it shouldn't grow back. He has two stitches but they are on the under layers of skin so they will not need to be removed. He has steri-strips on the incision that will fall off on their own. He did fine with the anesthesia - very groggy afterwards and slept a lot of the day away. He was up an moving on Christmas Eve like nothing happened at all. We are so happy it's over and just hope he doesn't end up with too big of a scar. Thanks for all of your thoughts, prayers, and well wishes, especially the phone calls we got on Christmas Eve.
